Elvera’s control and operation service brings cost savings and improves production efficiency with PlantSys solution
Finnish network company Elvera Oy is improving the efficiency of its control and operation service for industrial and power plants by implementing the PlantSys ecosystem provided by Vision Services Oy. The PlantSys operating system enables each plant requiring monitoring to be connected to Elvera’s central control room via a SaaS service.
“At the central control room, we monitor the processes of heating and power plants, distribution networks, real estate and industrial plants. Remote monitoring and operation bring significant cost savings to the customer, as well as improving production efficiency and occupational safety. The installation of the PlantSys ecosystem will enable us to extend our control and operation service to new sites, plants, including water production and treatment, and facilities where we are connected for 24/7 monitoring,” says Ari Ruskela, Director of Elvera Oy’s Heat and Water Business.

The PlantSys service streamlines analytics for optimal performance. The system collects measurement data and creates an automated data warehouse that speeds up performance trend analysis.
“Our operators don’t wait for alerts, they try to spot process flaws before they become problems. The automated data warehouse of measurement data speeds up fault analysis, and improves the anticipation of faults,” says Ari Ruskela with satisfaction.
